Reflection

Sometimes I just sit and drown in the seas of the worries of life, murmuring and asking God why didn't this go like this? Or why not that? Just going deeper and deeper into the cares and worries of this life, am sure I am not alone on this one, don't we all just sit there and let our minds draw us into being so ungrateful?
the only floating tube that helps me stay put and not completely lose myself in these thoughts is a reminder of psalm 103&139.
103 focuses on God's love for us, how he forgives us of All our sins and fills us with good things, replacing what we really deserve with his unconditional love for us.
139 shines it's light on his ABSOLUTE knowledge and care for us, an assurance of God knowledge of the tiniest and most insignificant things happening to us.
Yes life isn't a bed of roses and things may not always go the way we want them to go but here's a little reminder that God doesn't forget, how can he even forget someone who was made in his own image? How can he forget someone he calls the apple of his eyes?
How can he forget his beloved and the redeemed?
How can he forget someone he took time to create after putting everything in the world and felt it was incomplete without you?
How can he forget when he has promised you "he will never leave you"?
How can he forget when his breath and his spirit is in you?
God didn't forget to fill your nostrils with that air, he sure didn't forget to activate your heart and veins to pump and circulate blood, neither did he forget to notify Mr. Take out the trash (liver) to keep system clean and all other organs to do their jobs to keep u alive, because those are the big things in your life.. So why think he has forgotten about taking you to your desired height in life.
I think our greatest shortcoming is not feeling good enough about what God has done right. When we under-celebrate, we fall short of the glory of God.
Pause the cares and worries of this world. Play the gratitude tape.
