Shepherded
Ever sat to think about the relationship between a cattle rarer and his cattle?
He is always with his cows, he travels with them from far north on foot searching for green land for them to graze, he walks under the scorching northern sun, through the lonely fields, and even at night he sleeps with his cattle but with one eye open just incase any harm may try to come to any of his folk. Now liken this relationship with God and us.
PS.23:1 sums the entire chapter up by saying he is our shepherd there is NOTHING we shall want because he has/will give us EVERYTHING we need and want, the rarer provides everything the cattle needs from grass (vs 2), to water( vs 5) to shade wen the cow is tired, to safety from wild animals( vs 5) and Everything the cattle needs to be alive. The cattle is less concerned about his well being for it knows the shepherd is right around the corner, even when they stray into the roads and moving vehicles pass we see d speed the rarer takes to control it back to right path (vs 4). The rarer literarily lives his life for the cattle.
“I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep"(John 10:11)
This is how great Gods love for us is.
The next time u see a cattle rarer with his cows just smile and remember that you are shepherded by the Good shepherd in the same manner.
God loves you cow😁🐄🐄🐮🐮.
