Stuck

Stuck

Lately sitting down outside with my face up watching the sky from the sunset to when the stars and moon light up has been my favorite thing to do.
Watching this happen usually gives me this reminder about understanding the darkness period of one's life. You need the darkness to appreciate the beautiful stars and moon.

Exodus 14:3 says that, “[Israel] were cornered in the wilderness” and at that point, God brought His people to an impassable place as they saw Pharaoh’s armies approaching. There was no way forward, no way back and no way through. They were cornered.
They found themselves stuck in the darkness with no trace of light, no hope, they were backed to a corner but let me chip this in here; its in the darkest nights that the stars shine the brightest. We  have all been in situations that can be compared to being in between the red sea and an army  of angry Egyptians coming our way with bloodthirsty eyes to take the little glimpse of light we thought we saw ahead.
It said that the darkest hour of the night came just before the dawn. when God told Moses to lift up his rod, the people could not see ahead to where they were going. Yet God provided a way, just when they were about to be covered in the darkness, there was illumination.

This case is likened to a case where you don't understand the journey but you fully trust the Driver.
So we need to settle in our hearts that it is a journey navigated by faith – not by sight 2cor 5:7. Remember – wherever God leads you, He provides the way for you to reach your destination.
