Get onboard, Stay onboard

      Get Onboard, Stay Onboard

One morning he got up in his usual manner and walked out his front door straight to the mailbox, not like he was expectant of any new mail, lately the only mails he had been receiving were mail invites to parties, mails about murder, terrorism, sexual misconducts and all manner of evil happenings. The world had suddenly lost its sense of morality and had dishonoured God in too many ways. Mr. Noah had placed a  "no going out" ban on his entire household, no one was to go out, no TV or radio was to be turned on either, even their mobile devices and laptops were all put off. The only thing allowed in his household was long prayer hours, studying the bible and  having bible discussions with the family during family hour, the only time they went out was for evangelism and from time to time he will go to the grocery shop to restock the house, this was his own way of making sure the worlds self destruction  never got into his home and his family still regained some level of morals. And worst case scenario, they will be the only ones to honor God even if the whole world had turned against God.
He walked reluctantly to his mailbox, he took out a couple of mails and scanned through each one till he got to an unusual mail with URGENT boldly written on it. He ripped open the envelop with no delay, and his eyes moved from line to line reading the details of this document, it wasn't everyday one got a mail from God. He hurried in and gathered everyone around, they all sat and waited for him to break the news,
what was this about this early morning? They all asked one another.
Noah finally broke the suspense "A big flood is coming, one big enough to wipe out the entire world from all its evil. God is angry and regrets creating such an evil world, and has instructed I build an ark for our safety. I have other instructions written here, and I will let you know the details with time,  for now lets get to work."

When the flood came it washed away all that was evil and displeasing to God, all but that which was on the ark Noah had built. The ark signified a covering, same covering of Jesus Christ, when He died on the cross, like the flood his blood drowned all things of the former; the shame, sickness, sins and all the manipulations of the devil. The ark was built to a specific dimension, big enough to contain all d animals and Noah's family because God was being specific about the giant capacity of the ark, the death of his son will be enough to contain the weight of whole world.
The flood was to the destruction of the  world but the recreation of a new generation through Noah but the blood was for the destruction of death, sin, sickness, the chains and shackles of the devil but the restoration of the  new life to the whole world.

With every drop of blood that came gushing out of His body came a flood of grace and mercy.
The flood was of water but His was of blood. The flood wiped away all that was bad, and the ark stood to the safety of all that was on it. The out pouring of his blood on Calvary became the in pouring of  salvation into our lives. In Noah's time it rained for forty days and nights before the floodgates were open. Jesus had to prepare and he fasted and prayed for forty days and night for the hour where the out poring of his blood was to come.
Noah was found worthy to be saved from the destruction of the flood, but we were all unworthy yet His flood of blood washed us all.
The flood covered the mountain tops, and everything was wiped away. The blood of Jesus covered up the gap sin created between us and God, and  everything limiting is wiped away.

Noah's family was saved because they got on the ark and they stayed on it. Stay grounded to your source, Jesus is your ark, the shelter which you dwell. Jesus brought you onboard with the outpouring of his blood having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. The tribulations and trails will come but remember it isn't just about getting on the ark its also about staying on the ark until the flood passes. While on the ark the flood will  wash it all off, taking away the trails  and a rainbow will come out at the very end. So  Get onboard and stay onboard.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1 NIV
