LIGHT

She sat staring at the calendar, she couldn't believe she was turning twenty-four in a few days, the longer she stared the farther her mind went. She travelled back in time to when she was five and all she had to worry about was her teeth falling off, learning to read and finish the entire Queen primer books her father had gotten her.  Learning to spell and put sentences together and tell the time was how simple life was.
Her mind wondered to being Nine in JSS1 and feeling like life had suddenly lost meaning as being thrown in the boarding house was dreadful. She quickly brushed that memory off, that wasn't the kind of thoughts to dwell on.
 From one memory to the other came with some level of difficulty higher than the previous. she soon realized that with every moment came an expectation of the next rather than enjoying the present. Oh, dear girl!

Life can get really difficult, you sit and start to wonder where the destination really is, could you be going the right way? what are those things that drive you? are you even up to the challenge life is throwing at you right now? too many questions without answers. How are you suppose to be Superwoman when you can't even see the superpowers.

PAUSE with the depression talk already!

In the beginning, the world was without form, it was dark, empty, desolate, nothing worked, everything had no meaning, everything seemed at a standstill, the world couldn't figure out where it was going or what it was about. Until a word was spoken by God, "let there be light" and there was.
Same God called you the light of the world.  The presence of light on earth caused a change. Your presence in a life that seemed empty, a life without form, Your presence made the difference. You gave the world form, You filled the earth.
Don't you dare let the difficulty of right now make you forget who you are!

You have got superpowers.
Life is tough but you are tougher.
You are more than a conqueror, all odds and obstacles in your way shall  be conquered by you.
You are salt of the earth, all the bitter experiences can be sweetened by you.
You are a city set on a hill, the top is your spot.
You are a place where the Holy Spirit dwells.
You are God's work of art.
You are light, darkness flees at the sight of you.
You are light, shine your way through whatever trail.
You Are LIGHT so Shine ON!
